Baking Cookies

On Wednesday of this week me and Jenn, Steve and Kelley, Megan and Jeremy, and my Dad all decided to bake cookies, sugar cookies in fact. It was super fun... I'm pretty sure that before that the last time I had made sugar cookies was like three years ago, so I had lots of fun. In fact since then I have made cupcakes and more sugar cookies. Me and Megan cut them all out... Jenn and Jeremy helped frost them, Steve and Dad played rockband all night, and Kelley bounced inbetween the two of our groups helping here and there and keeping us all entertained. The kids all played very good together and I sadly didn't get any pictures of them at all. :( But here are some of the pictures of the adults from the night. Then, yesterday Steve brought the kids over and they played and played with us. I gave Brecken a cupcake (see I really did make them...) but he dropped it on the ground and his puppy got it and started eating it... licking it off the floor, brecken decided that this was a great idea and started licking frosting off the floor too. It was totally cute and funny. Anyways... I wanted a picture of it but was too late with the camera, so instead I got this awesome of him chewing on the dogs leash... lol he's so cute!

People I Work WIth

Alright so todays post is to introduce you to people I work with... We have fun sometimes...

"Nick the Man Whore"
He is very good at keeping us entertained at work with his awesome stories of how he can woe women into thinking he is cute or something... We love him for it. (Left)

This is Travis... he's the new guy, I don't have a nick-name for him yet, but he is very fun to politic with... Wonder what we are going to talk about after the election... Humm... (Bottom)

This awesome picture is of Natalie's butt... She wouldn't let me take a picture of her face, so I snapped this one of her butt... I warned her that if she wouldn't stop being lame I would post this one... she wouldn't so here is her back end... it's almost as cute as her face... (Top)

Here is Jordan... He as well doesn't have a nickname... But he is great... Right here he is wearing a gas mask because he thinks that someone is trying to kill him using toxic gases... Ok really he was painting in the hangar or something but I thought he looked pretty awesome. (Bottom)

"Hess" or "Grumpy Pants" is what we call this awesome face. He is really funny and pretty good at being grumpy although you couldn't tell by looking at this picture... He was pretty cool about letting me take it... Look he looked at me and smiled and everything. (Left)

Brian, he is one of the Maintenence guys, he drives a 1993 Geo Metro, ok really it's a Civic but it looks like a Geo... So awesome. He's pretty awesome. (Right)

This is Thug, he is fun, pretty sure he wishes that he really was a thug, but he's too sweet and smart for that, but he puts on a good front. (Bottom)

Corn

I'm pretty sure that I'm not usually this amazed by how beautiful everything is around this time of year, but this year I seem to be very sensitive to it, I love everything! For the last week on my way to work I keep seeing all of these corn fields that I have been dying to take pictures of... I finally pulled over and just did it today, here they are!

Indy

Last night Jill and I went to a movie, we saw The Dutchess no one else would go with us because they all thought that is sounded "Lame" When we got back the kids were (sadly) already in bed, but the dog was still up so we played and played... She is so funny, she loves to chase keys... what dog loves chasing keys?? I've never even heard of one other than Indy... she's so sweet and cute... Anyways I didn't take pictures yesterday so they ended up being of her... here they are... Check out her eyes! AWESOME!!!

Cleaning

After work today I had to run some stuff to my uncle Leon who was cleaning out my grandparents house with my other aunts and uncles (mom was absent; due to the fact that she is home sick today) When I got there they were going through some awesome treasures down in the basement. They (begrudgingly) let me take some pictures of them as they were doing it. Look at how great all of them are. I love them so much. I pretty much have the greatest family on the earth.

What a Day

Well today was basically.... hum what should I call it, oh ya! A Monday! Today was a total Monday, work was terrible pretty much the worst day that I've had there for a month at least, so needless to say I was in a very bad mood when I got home, but tonight was supposed to be canoeing in the moonlight night and so I decided that it was going to be awesome no matter how bad my day was. I met up with Emilee (my lets do random outdoors stuff person) and we got some dinner. While we were eating we decided that it was too cold to go canoeing and vetoed it so instead we had a blast hanging out at dinner and laughing... I was complaining about a weird whisker thing growing out of my face and Emilee pulls out some tweezers and is all, "Want me to pull it for you?" It was totally great... I was so proud and surprised that she had tweezers... Maybe it's a Mary Poppins bag. If so Em, where can I get one?

Alright 1st picture is Emilee helping me tweeze my face. 2ND picture is on here only because Emilee looks so completely amazing what she is doing with her hand and her chin I'm not sure, maybe her chin itched... And the 3rd picture was taken so we could show everyone on my blog just how sad it is that the stupid cold weather made it so we couldn't go canoeing but I was laughing too hard due to the last picture to be very sad faceish. Can you blame me??

Catch up

So I have been really bad about updating and adding pictures to my blog this last week I'm going to catch up today which means that I'm adding I think four different pictures. Here they are:

Amazing Women:

Here are two of the most beautiful and most amazing people that I know. On the left is my Aunt Tillie and on the right is my Mom. Aren't they just beautiful? My Aunt Tillie recently got home from the hospital and my mom and I went down to see her. She is doing so good, and looks better than I have seen her in months! We all had such a good time just sitting around talking and laughing and catching up on each others lives.

Abstract Art

OK I know that your looking at this picture thinking, "What in the world is that..." It kinda looks like a poster board that someone has scribbled on but no it is in fact the remains of a whole sheet cake that sat at work for no longer than three days before being completely devoured by all of us. It was so fattening and creamy and soft and good. Anyways I put the picture on here because although it is very cheesy and lame I also thought that it was kind of cool.

Breakfast

Me, Jenn and my Parents all went to breakfast. After we were finished eating I got a little bit creative with the stuff on the table, it started with one coke glass, then two, then turned into this collage with Jenn and my Dad posing in the background. Taking these pictures was crazy fun for some reason, we were all laughing and joking, it was a grand old time. :)
Snow Day in October

As you all know it snowed today. It's the 12th of October and it snowed! It snowed so much that it stuck, I was very shocked when I woke up this morning, I mean the weather had said snow, and it snowed yesterday, but it did what it was supposed to do and melted away when it touched the ground... I decided that even though I was so disappointed that it had snowed I had better take advantage of it and get some sweet pictures, here they are, I was in my parents back yard, I have others, but these are my favorites, I really like the one of the pond.

Pumpkins

I had a hard time taking a picture today, I really wanted to take one of the leaves changing up in the mountains, because I was up there today and all I could think was how beautiful it was and how amazing God is for giving us the scenery that he does. He surrounds us with so many things that can just strike "awe" in to us if we take the time to look at them, but so many times in our lives we just hustle and bustle and don't pay attention to the things he has given us. So that's what I wanted to take a pictue of, but by the time I decided what I wanted to take it of and went to take it it was too dark for it to turn out. I was very sad, I then tried taking pictures of Megan and her daughter Lexi but Lexi did not want her picture taken and kept crying in them and she just looked sad which is definitely not something that makes me happy....
I was shopping and I saw these pumpkins and I got so excited while looking at them that I kept thinking about them the whole time I was in the store and standing in line, trying to decide when I was going to buy a pumpkin to carve and how I was going to carve it. I decided that they would definitely be the pictures that I use for my picture today... The bottom picture is of my favorite pumpkin. I love it, pretty sure that you could make anything with that pumpkin.

Mountain View

I have worked at Million Air for almost three years and as you are about to get to the Airport the view has never ceased to amaze me.... This is it. It is breath taking no matter what time of day or what time of year it is. I have been meaning to take a picture of it since the day I started, but pulling off to the side of the road to snap a picture of what looks like nothing to the average student driving down to class just seemed kinda embarrassing, but since I didn't have anything else in mind to take a picture of today I decided that I would finally pull over and do it... I kept wishing that I had Jenn's camera because it is so much better but this was the best one I was able to get. Isn't it beautiful? I love Utah for this view, how do people live with out the Mountains? I love the beach and I think that it is amazingly beautiful but there is something about the colors and the texture in the mountains that can't be compared to anything else in the whole world.

Food

Jenn and I went out of town two weeks ago to Disneyland for a week, when we did we got rid of all of our food except we left in our fridge a dozen eggs and in our cupboard a thing of soup and some fruit roll-ups. When we got back from Disneyland we were going to go shopping but we were going out of town again the next weekend, and both of us were really busy last week so we didn't go shopping at all really. We didn't even have milk or bread to eat. So today the thing that made me the happiest was that Jenn went grocery shopping on her way home from work and look at all of the fruits and veggies she bought! Don't they look so yummy? Seriously I'm so excited to eat them, greasy nasty fast food can get so old so quick. YEA for the best part of my day!

Spiders

Today at work Alexis was cleaning the window seals off and she found this little guy just hanging out right in the center of his web. She came and grabbed me to show me him and ask if I knew what kind of spider he was... Automatically as I walked up to the window I said that it was for sure a black widow until I actually looked at it and saw that there is no red belly... it's got like wite marks down its belly instead of the red dot....
We asked Larry because he is usually the fountain of random knowledge and we thought for sure he would know, but he didn't even know what it was, he told us that it was Charlotte from Charlotte's Web, but although this spider does look like an amazing web maker, I just don't think that there are going to be words in the web tomorrow, don't worry I'll take a picture and let you know if it happens... and probably cut out newspaper clippings for it too.

Nick took this pictures for me. I really wanted a picture of it from the outside of the window, but I was way too afraid to actually go outside to take the picture, who knows if that spider was just waiting on his web for me to come outside and snap a picture of him so he could then turn around and attack me with multiple spider bites, because I mean look at him... He's HUGE and looks like he could be pretty mean if the wrong papratize crowd came taking pictures of him, like Gary Coleman or somethig. Plus Nick is very good friends with most spiders, there was one in my office the other day and he practically threatened to kill me if I killed the spider, so I figured that they were probably on speaking terms or something and the spider wouldn't mind as much if he took the picture. They are pretty sweet right?

Motivation

Today my aunt Carol ran in the marathon down in St. George, she is so amazing I can't even believe that she is capable of it, to me seems like an impossible goal that could never be accomplished and this is her 7th. She trained for it all by herself. WOW! She is so insprational to me, I seriously want to be just like her. One day I will find what she has and be able to run in a half marathon (why set myself up for anything more just yet.) She is in better shape than I have ever been and she's my aunt... My picture of today is of her. It would have been of her at the race but it was raining and I didn't have my camera because I didn't want it to get wet... :S

Sweet Dreams

How cute is Sarah?? We are down in St. George, and she has just played and played and played today, and finally she just dropped while watching Jenn play a game on her computer. She slept there for almost a whole hour before she even started stirring. This is my picture of the day. Definitely made me happy, wouldn't it be great to be that age again.

A Picture a Day

So Jenn and Megan my only two friends decided that this month we are going to take a picture a day of something that makes us happy and then put them up on our blogs... I was over ruled in the decision as to whether or not i would join thier group so here I am starting a blog and taking a picture a day...

So here are my two pictures to start the month...
This picture if of Megan and Jeremy... they definitely make me happy, Megan because she let me teach her how to do her make up tonight and it was a total blast... and Jeremy because he totally looks awesome in the back of the picture.. Pretty sure he didn't know that it was supposed to be of him too.... OOPS!

This photo is supposedly my second day's photo... it is thanks to Megan and Jeremy too... this is their mouse pad.... I know, it looks like I took a picture of a crazy world rug and then shrunk it to look like a mouse pad, but no it really is their mouse pad! I love it! Probably will steal it soon to use at work...
