Extreme Tubing

Yesterday my mom's family all got together and did some tubing. I am calling it extreme tubing because we didn't just go to some park with a big hill, no we went to the foothills right above the water tower at like 7 PM and tubed down those hills... dodging trees and shrubbs and even in one place part of the remains of someone's prize elk. YUCK!!!! This night was probably the best I've had in months... Those people who were cool enough to join will proably agree with me. Everyone else can just look at these sweet pic's and be sad they didn't get to join in on the fun. Carol and I hiked up to the very top of the hill to tube down it... it was so beautiful up there that we decided to hike up again but with a camera and Jory the second time... You can't tell from the pictures but it was incredible up there last night... The lights in the city were reflecting off of the snow, and it was just so so peaceful!

Phil felt that he was missing out on some of the fun so he eventually joined us at the top....

After our photoshoot was over, we all tubed back down the mountain and met up with the rest of the family... We found my mom and Aunt Linda doing some awesome tubing down a little hill next to the one we chose.

And I found these two party poopers standing around talking about how they are too cool to tube with everyone else because in their words, "We are smarter than you are and don't want to get hurt"... Looks like they missed out on all the fun....

Here is the only time that my dad got on one of the tubes... yes it looks like he is bodyslamming my mom, but don't worry, no one actually got hurt in the posing of this picture... Don't they look cute though?? I love my mom and dad, they are the best in the whole world!!!

And here's a few more pic's... A super cute one of my mom and Leon, they were telling me how different it looks up by the water tower now from when they were growing up... and telling me that you used to be able to point out things like people's houses and stores, Now all you see is a brilliantly beautiful light that makes your jaw drop. And one of my Cousin (who thinks its funny to lob snowballs at people namely me as they cruise by him on thier tube) and his super cute family...

When we got done with all of the tubing fun we hopped down to the cemetery and built some snowmen by my grandparents headstone and then took a group picture of everyone... This ended up turning into a snowball fight which ended up in Jory and I in the snow... him putting my face in the snow, and Phil paying Jory back for that by putting his face in the snow.... It was definitely worth it to watch Phil take Jory down. :)
Yes I'm pointing at the "face part" that is in a very obsure place... Someone said it was supposed to be a button, but I thought that you were supposed to have more than just one button... And the snowman next to me looked like snoopy... he was awesome!!!
Check out how wet my pants are.... They are completly soaked all the way up to my mid thigh...

Brecken's 2nd B-day

Brecken had his second birthday and he was so cute! It was so funny watching him open his presents because he'd get one open and want to see it and play with it, but instead he would have another package thrown in his face and the present that he received would get set into the pile... But he was a good sport and he had fun playing peek-a-boo with this bag... Look at how funny he is... We love him so much, he's such a snot and has so much attitude sometimes, but he is so cute and he makes everything so much fun!!!

Jenn's Birthday

For jenn's birthday this year we celebrated for like three days straight. On the Saturday morning before made jenn a surprize breakfast with everyone there, and then all of us went to see Bolt. It was tonz of fun. Here are some of the pic's from that morning....

The next morning Megs and Jeremy came over and had breakfast with us. Jenn wanted to try out Pumpkin Buttermilk Waffles. They were brave and nice enough to try them out with us... I reccomend the syrup but not not as much the waffles... they were ok but not fantastic. We had a great time, but sadly I have no pic's of the event, you can imagine though how great it was. Then to conclude her birthday ceremony's that night the family got back together and had cake and ice cream with her.... Here are a few of the fun snap shots from the night...

Wrestling

When I was a kid my brothers wrestled. I got dragged from high school gym to high school gym to watch and stupport them. It's crazy the games you can come up with when stuck on bleachers for hours and hours... I haven't been to a wrestling match since I was like 10 or so but Kyle is now old enough to participate in city sports and he signed up for wrestling of all things (Including quite a few others, but this is all I got pictures of.)

Look at how cute he is in his singlet... And yes he is posing, I know he looks like is listening or watching something intently, but no he is posing.... In this one too... That's right... He's flashing signs at me....

And this is the last one I am posting... Look at how cute he is when he is actually wrestling... I seriously love it...

This kid that he wrestled was such a tough kid. He probably could have beat me up if he had tried.

Kelley and Jill

This cute picture of my two awesome sister in laws was taken at Tia Pan. We had a blast there that night and found these awesome purses that I talked them into putting on their heads so I could blog about them on it. Oops... I seems like maybe it took me a long time to put it on here since this was taken a week before Thanksgiving.
But serioulsy look at how cute and fun these two girls are. We have such a great time hanging out together... How is it possible that my two crazy weird brothers ended up with such great wives that are so fun to hangout with....

Halloween

Halloween was on Friday. It was very fun. My Mom, Dad, Carol, and I all went to see aunt Tilly, when we got there they were having a Halloween party, so we walked around and talked to some of the resididents and to some of her new friends, one cute little old man asked if I was dressed up as the "Tin Woman" because my mom was Elphaba and my aunt was Glinda. It was cute. After visiting Aunt Tilly we went to steve and kelley's and Chris and Jill came over. Look at how cute the kids all look in their costumes!!

Check out Kyles Beard!! He will be so handsome when he is older and can grow a real one.

Check out how scary sarah looks! I think that she was pretty tired because she apparently turned into a monster..

Does my dad make a super cute witch or what??
My mom dressed up as Elphaba as I already told you, but what I didn't tell you is that when you take off all of the green except for what was around her eyes and give her some crazy hat hair her costume changes to the Joker from The Dark Knight. Awesome!

Pumpkins

On Monday the Christensen side of the family had a Halloween get together. It was pretty fun we all ate chilly and hamburger stew and just spent time together enjoyig one anothers company. Carving pumpkins and talking. NO ONE but Me, Jenn, and the Kids (Kyle, Joey, Sarah and Brecken) dressed up. SO LAME! So that was kind of embarrassing but what do you do...
Look at how cute these girls are!!! They are the cutest little cousins. Baily (the one on Sue's lap...) is so stinking cute, she is the most social little girl I've ever met!

Here are a bunch of people carving pumpkins... Jory is blocking Carol's face with his awesome pose... And I'm not 100% sure what Phill is doing... maybe Jess had a spider on her shoulder or something... Anyways... Jana who is next to Kelley is pretty much the best pumpkin carver that I have ever met, seriously she can carve anything at all... She free handed batman... So awesome I told her she is invited to all of my parties where pumpkin carving is involved.
Ok my family might be a little messed up... In this picture are two of my cousins, my dad and brothers... weird thing about it... My two cousins are dating. Yup that's right I now have two cousins that are dating... I know you are thinking, wow! Amy's family is SO messed up, but Nate is my cousin on my mom's side, and his girlfriend is my cousin on my dad's side, like my grandpa's brothers granddaughter (however you would say that...) CRAZY RIGHT!! I thought so anyways and decided that I'd better share it with all of you... Anyways the funniest part is that I hadn't ever met her until she showed up with Nate... Teasing them was a very fun part of the night for us.
Here are me and the kids in my awesome costume showing off the pumpkin that Kyle and I carved... It was a crazy pumpkin and Kyle told me how to carve it... It had a circle eye a square eye a rectangle nose a rectangle mouth and a mustache. It was pretty much the coolest pumpkin anyone has ever created.. Very fun ending to a very fun night. Plus I want you to see that my toes are pointed... Yep I'm not sure what I was doing but they are definitely pointed...

Baking Cookies

On Wednesday of this week me and Jenn, Steve and Kelley, Megan and Jeremy, and my Dad all decided to bake cookies, sugar cookies in fact. It was super fun... I'm pretty sure that before that the last time I had made sugar cookies was like three years ago, so I had lots of fun. In fact since then I have made cupcakes and more sugar cookies. Me and Megan cut them all out... Jenn and Jeremy helped frost them, Steve and Dad played rockband all night, and Kelley bounced inbetween the two of our groups helping here and there and keeping us all entertained. The kids all played very good together and I sadly didn't get any pictures of them at all. :( But here are some of the pictures of the adults from the night. Then, yesterday Steve brought the kids over and they played and played with us. I gave Brecken a cupcake (see I really did make them...) but he dropped it on the ground and his puppy got it and started eating it... licking it off the floor, brecken decided that this was a great idea and started licking frosting off the floor too. It was totally cute and funny. Anyways... I wanted a picture of it but was too late with the camera, so instead I got this awesome of him chewing on the dogs leash... lol he's so cute!

People I Work WIth

Alright so todays post is to introduce you to people I work with... We have fun sometimes...

"Nick the Man Whore"
He is very good at keeping us entertained at work with his awesome stories of how he can woe women into thinking he is cute or something... We love him for it. (Left)

This is Travis... he's the new guy, I don't have a nick-name for him yet, but he is very fun to politic with... Wonder what we are going to talk about after the election... Humm... (Bottom)

This awesome picture is of Natalie's butt... She wouldn't let me take a picture of her face, so I snapped this one of her butt... I warned her that if she wouldn't stop being lame I would post this one... she wouldn't so here is her back end... it's almost as cute as her face... (Top)

Here is Jordan... He as well doesn't have a nickname... But he is great... Right here he is wearing a gas mask because he thinks that someone is trying to kill him using toxic gases... Ok really he was painting in the hangar or something but I thought he looked pretty awesome. (Bottom)

"Hess" or "Grumpy Pants" is what we call this awesome face. He is really funny and pretty good at being grumpy although you couldn't tell by looking at this picture... He was pretty cool about letting me take it... Look he looked at me and smiled and everything. (Left)

Brian, he is one of the Maintenence guys, he drives a 1993 Geo Metro, ok really it's a Civic but it looks like a Geo... So awesome. He's pretty awesome. (Right)

This is Thug, he is fun, pretty sure he wishes that he really was a thug, but he's too sweet and smart for that, but he puts on a good front. (Bottom)
